Brain Education

The brains of children in PreK through 2nd Grade are undergoing an intense amount of growth and development.  During this time, children are experiencing core learning and development in reading, writing, math, problem solving, socialization, and sharing.

Though the brain is undergoing intense development during this time, teaching students about the important of their brain and how to optimize it is not an area of focus for the vast majority of educators.  This is for a number of reasons, including:  A lack of capacity to teach about the brain with the high number of standards and expectations placed on educators, lack of resources and training, and even a lack of programs and curricula specific to brain education.

For this reason, parents are now looking to supplement teaching about the brain at home.  ZainyTime is an excellent resource for parents to deliver high quality, easy to adapt, and highly accessible lessons about the brain to their children at home, in the car, or anywhere they go!
